Amanda Ryals, D.V.M.- I am a native of Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. I have been in private practice around the Metroplex since 1989. My areas of special interest include small animal medicine and surgery. I have been married to my husband since 1990 and have two beautiful children. My pets "Colt" a Golden Retriever and "Katie" a Golden Retriever Mix love to visit the hospital.
Kelly Wiggins, D.V.M- I graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. As a relief doctor, I have been helping Dr. Ryals get some rest and relaxation since 2011. I have 3 daughters, a son and grandson that keep my husband and I very busy when not working. My household is also lovingly completed with my pit bull mix, Snickers, 2 kitties, Lacy & Calvin and 6 not-amazingly-intelligent pet chickens, Escape, Missy, Georgette, Nana, Dominique and Hugo.
Lee- I was born and raised in the Mansfield area and love it here. I have been in the animal field since 1999 where I started as a kennel technician/bather in a grooming salon. I ventured into the human medical side for a few years and decided to come back into the animal field in a veterinary hospital in 2004. I have been at 287 Animal Hospital since November of 2007 and love it here. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and son as well as playing with my dog “Shadow” and cats “Loki” & “Nikoli”.
Lauren- I started working at 287 Animal Hospital in May of 2014. I love speaking with clients about their furry family members and helping them with anything they need. I have a strong passion for all animals and hope to one day run a business involving the care of animals. When I am not working I attend Navarro College where I am on my way to achieving my Associates degree in science and I also do some modeling on the side. I have 2 dogs, Emry a Chihuahua and Jessi a blue heeler.
Christy- I started working here in May of 2006. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals and wanted to work with them, so I turned that love into a career. I am a native Texan and reside in Arlington. There I live with my husband Jason and we have a son named JJ who attends college at UTA. We share our home with 7 furry children, 4 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy being with my family and love to watch baseball which is our favorite pastime.
Jan- I have over 15 years experience as a groomer and have been grooming my own pets, as well as family and friends pets since I was 10 years old. In 1999 I decided to make it a career and graduated from Texas Allbreed Grooming School that same year. I then went to work for a mobile grooming business for a couple of years and in 2002 returned to Texas Allbreed Grooming School to become an Assistant Teacher and a year later I was promoted to Head Instructor. I have continued my career in grooming at private grooming salons before starting at 287 Animal Hospital in 2014.
