Please help us welcome Jan, our new groomer!

Jan comes to us with over 15 years experience. She has been grooming her own pets, as well as family and friends pets since she was 10 years old. In 1999 she decided to make it a career and graduated from Texas Allbreed Grooming School that same year. She then went to work for a mobile grooming business for a couple of years. In 2002 she returned to Texas Allbreed Grooming School to become an Assistant Teacher and a year later was promoted to Head Instructor. Jan has continued her career in grooming at private grooming salons before finding us at 287 Animal Hospital. We are very happy to have her and look forward to everyone coming in to meet her and allowing her the opportunity to groom your pets. Please give us a call to schedule an appointment with Jan!

Proper grooming of skin and hair coat is vital to your pets overall health, no matter what breed, size, age, or coat type. Regular grooming can prevent problems such as excessive shedding, skin and paw disorders, painful mats, and bad breath, as well as help you identify other problems that might go unnoticed without extra attention. A normal, healthy animal should be groomed every 6-8 weeks.
